Fall/Winter Collection 2011

Clear colours shape the new image. The fashion focus is on the chino flat front and the Italian five–pocket trouser.

collection report - Autumn/Winter 2011

Fashion is becoming bolder, without a doubt. Clear colours shape the new image of the Autumn/Winter 2011 season. Tobacco–rust brown, burgundy and British racing green are the shades of the season. Bold plaids are especially popular – the bigger the better. The trend is moving away from small–pieced structures, toward luxurious surfaces like lush velvets and fine flannels. It is time to feel good! Traditional Italian weavers are once again garnering considerable attention. We use exclusively high–quality natural materials such as pure virgin wool, the finest cotton, airy kapok and refined cashmere. In the winter, these create warm blends not only with pure virgin wool, but also with the finest pima cotton and corduroy trousers.
Along with the colours, the cuts are also more clearly defined. The fashion focus is on the chino flat front (ROMA model) and the Italian five–pocket trouser (RIMINI model) with a slim–look silhouette. High–quality materials, an excellent fit and functional details are what make MEYER trousers so special.
The inside features are also consistently outstanding, with brightly woven pocket linings in complementary colours, modern buttons and redesigned labels. Our goal is to fulfil our quality promise in every detail.
Products certified with the international FAIR TRADE seal remain an important part of our collection. Meeting ecological standards, ensuring fair manufacturing conditions in our own factory and guaranteeing the highest quality – that is the promise we make to our customers. Because quality, ethics and good prices are not mutually exclusive!
